The Organic Farm

Our farm is organic and certified by the ICEA control authority, and functions with complete respect towards nature and animals. We produce cereals (barley, wheat and spelt) as well as feed for our Bruna Alpina cattle.

The chickens and rabbits are bred for our own use and that of our customers.

A large garden supplies vegetables and allows us the possibility of cultivating rare varieties of legumes, aromatic plants and flowers which are almost extinct. We collaborate with the international “Seed Saver” organization to save these seeds, a cultural heritage of the European horticultural tradition, which we believe are more resistant and productive than the current “modern seeds”.

The fruit trees supply us with apricots, figs, apples, peaches, pears, quince, plums, and raspberries for jams or to eat straight off the trees. Numerous very resistant wild varieties grow naturally and allow us to graft other varieties.
